Intermission demo release!

As anticipated, today the intermission demo is available for download! It contains an entire half hour of intense backstory.

To those that may worry about the contents, it does not contain any physical violence. It is instead something of a strongly emotional manner.

This intermission is two years in the making, having been started near the time after level 2 was finished. I wrote it with increased urgency as events in my own life provided a direction for it. While a visit to this part of Coda's backstory was always somewhat on the docket, the nature of what it would show and willingness to approach the emotionally charged subject matter is what changed.
For those that might know me, you may know that I had discovered that I am non-binary and found a name that resonates better with myself. This intermission reflects that fairly closely.

As for why it took so long, pandemic-related depression, general depression, and shifting gears back to my homestuck roots for the sake of trying to reconnect with what I loved before joining fallingstar have a lot to do with it. The latter definitely did a lot to combat the two former, though it does mean a slower pace of production, especially without my former gamedev partner working by my side. While we did create great things together, I feel like it was important that we went our separate ways. Regardless, I wish her success as she does for me to this very day.

Without further ado, I present this intermission from the depths of my heart. I hope that you are able to appreciate it and find strength from it.
